Shared Practices

The power of peer-to-peer learning is well understood and appreciated by California educators. Over the past few years, sessions featuring school and district practices were some of the best-received and highest-rated parts of the conference.

We look forward to highlighting shared practices that will showcase your team’s expertise in tying assessment topics into teaching and learning best practices.

The California Department of Education (CDE) is looking for proposals that

  • highlight assessment tools or practices;

  • include one or more classroom educator(s) on the presentation team;

  • are geared toward the target audience of classroom educators and site administrators;

  • speak to, or incorporate, the conference theme;

  • are no longer than 75 minutes in length; and

  • do not promote outside products or software.

The CDE reserves the right to schedule the Shared Practices sessions as individual sessions or as part of a panel discussion on a selected topic.

If you have any questions about the Shared Practices sessions for the CAC at any time during the process, please contact Aimee Myers directly by email at amyers@scoe.net.
